Irene Goyette specializes in children, familiy and high school senior portrait photography. Whether on location or in her beautiful studio Irene brings her natural abilities and special talents to her work.
"I enjoy working with people and creating the images that capture the moment," says Irene.
While living in Southern California she had been photographing people on a part time basis since 1980. In 1995 Irene decided to make it her full time career.
"I added to the knowledge I had gained in college by taking classes and attending seminars aimed at the professional photographer," says Irene.

Irene's Home and Studio in Bennington, VT
In the fall of 2001 her dream of moving to Bennington came true. "My husband, Mark, grew up here and ever since we first visited I knew I wanted to live here."
Irene and Mark now live, along with their two sons, in the old stone house on N. Bennington Rd. Her studio is in the great room of the old house.
"The room has so much character with open beams, an old stone fireplace, and plenty of space to display my work and photograph people," says Irene.
She also uses the beautiful grounds of the property as a background for portrait photography.
Irene served four terms on the executive board of the Vermont Professional Photographers Association.
